Introduction to Memorial Hall of the Zhaojin Shan-Gan-Bian Revolutionary Base Area

Zhaogin Memorial Hall is located in Zhaogin Town, Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province, and is a department-level institution under the Organization Department of the Tongchuan Municipal Committee. The memorial hall was first built and opened in 2004, and Qi Xin, the wife of Comrade Xi Zhongxun, attended the opening ceremony and wrote an inscription: “ Inherit the legacy of our forefathers and build the old revolutionary area.”

In 2012, the project was reconstructed and expanded on the basis of the original museum. In September 2013, the memorial hall reopened, the reconstructed and expanded memorial hall construction area of 6500 square meters, divided into the upper and lower two floors, the first floor for the prelude hall, the main exhibition hall. The second floor of the memorial hall is the Shan-Gan-Bian revolutionary base area heroes memorial exhibition area, and the oil painting exhibition area. The main line of display exhibition is the Shan-Gan-Bian revolutionary base area history, with a wealth of historical information, pictures, cultural relics, through a variety of modern sound and light technology, reproduces the difficult process of creating the revolutionary base area of Shan-Gan-Bian revolutionary base with Zhaojin as the center, comprehensively and systematically displaying the glorious history of the revolutionary forefathers and the people of the Soviet Union who fought bravely. It highlights the theme of "two points and one deposit".

At present, Zhaogin memorial hall is one of the nation's 100 "red tourism classic scenic spots", the national patriotism education demonstration base, the national defense education demonstration base, the national youth education base, the national martyrs' memorial facilities, the national care for the next generation of the party history and national history education base, the national rule of law propaganda and education base, the Chinese overseas international cultural exchange base, the national red army elementary school construction project patriotism education base, the Chinese Yan'an college of cadres integrated teaching base, the national school of administration, the sense of public servant education teaching site. On February 14, 2015, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited Zhaogin, visited the Zhaogin memorial hall, admired the Heroes' Monument of the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Revolutionary base area and laid a flower basket. He said, "The Shan-Gan-Bian revolutionary base area centered on Zhaojin has written a glorious page in the history of the Chinese revolution. It is necessary to strengthen the study of the history of the revolutionary base area, summarize the historical experience, and better carry forward the spirit of the revolution and the fine style of work ".

In recent years, the Zhaogin memorial hall has thoroughly implemented the important spirit of the instructions issued by General Secretary Xi Jinping when he came to Tongchuan in Shaanxi Province. Zhaogin memorial hall is trying to create a "Zhaogin Spirit" national exhibition tour, to carry out the anniversary of the creation of the Shan-Gan-Bian revolutionary base area symposium, the red culture of the "Qijin" preaching, Oral history interviews of "remembering revolutionary history - visiting relatives of revolutionary pioneers", a series of brand work, such as the issuance of " Shan-Gan-Bian and Zhaogin" internal publication, the popularity of red Zhaogin and the influence of the "Zhaogin Spirit" continues to improve. On the eve of the National Day in 2021, the spirit of Zhaogin was included in the first batch of great spirits of the Chinese Communist Party's spiritual genealogy, and the Zhaogin memorial hall has become the main position for the majority of cadres and young people to learn red culture, remember the martyrs of the revolution, and carry out patriotism education and revolutionary tradition education.
